Our social projects are life changing community ventures developed by our members to change the lives of people in our local community and around the world whilst developing their skills as an entrepreneur and enhancing their CVs.
Our social projects have one aim, to make a lasting difference on the lives of the people we work with, so that they can continue to use the skills we teach to improve their lives long after we leave.
World Kind
World Kind is an international project aimed at providing rural communities with essential skills. Our project aims to help communities to work together, develop their agricultural methods and plan for the future. Following successful completion of our training program we provide group micro-finance investment.
Granny Matters
Granny Matters helps senior citizens to develop their computer related skills in a relaxed environment (and with a cup of tea). Our sessions teach cover skills such as buying and paying bills online, joining social networks, creating christmas cards and newsletters and much more.
St Luke's
We're working with St Luke's to help them improve their shops. We are currently analysising the shops and following this we will develop a competative strategy. We're also looking at getting a St Luke's shop in the University of Sheffield Union.
School Workshops
We deliver a range of different lessons and workshops to primary, secondary and University students. Last year we worked with 624 students in two continents and adapted each of our sessions to suit the needs of the different groups.
